yes, i can certainly relate, i come to islam with three children one out of wedlock as well... i have made plenty of mistakes and most muslims born muslim cannot relate to those of us who convert. my family is also not supportive. feel free to email me anytime :) when did you convert?

I UNDERSTAND COMPLETEELY BELIEVE ME :) ONLY A WEEK AGO I DID SHAHADA WITH A FRIEND,I STILL WANT TO DO IT IN MOSSQUE FRIDAY THOUGH TOO.BUT I HAVE BEEN STUDYING IT FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS.AND IVE GONE TO MOSQUE THE LAST FEW WEEKS,MY FRIEND HAS BEEN TEACHING ME HOW TO PRAY AND TRYING TO MEMORIZE ARABIC SLOWLY.IT'S HARD.

awsome! im proud of you :) im glad you have a friend willing to help you. I am doing this solo... take it slow, if you rush you minght not be able to stand up to the pressure of it all... trust me, i fell there pretty hard and working my way back into things. :) keep it up, steady and slow
